Student, photographer, competitive tennis player, artist…

*Artwork by various artists including my own*

As the daughter of a Polish Production Designer and a German Graphic Designer, I attended both film and photo shoots from a very early age. I typically played hide and seek in the maze of sets on the Sony, Warner Brother or MGM lot, instead preferring to express my creativity by turning my room into an upside down mess. The floor was constantly littered with paint, glitter, clay, markers, and fabric.

In 3rd grade, after receiving an offer of $300 from my piano teacher to buy my first expressionistic painting, I realized art could be more than just a hobby. Many more paintings, drawings and collages then followed, now covering the walls of my bedroom. *

In High school I discovered photography, spending hours in the dark room and devising photo shoots. My junior year, I took an Advanced “Photo 2” class, later becoming the assistant to our photography teacher. Now in 12th grade, I am currently enrolled in the AP class.

Most recently, five of my photographic prints were displayed at the Barrett Art Gallery, and I was awarded "Best Photo" by the President of Santa Monica College, Dr. Kathryn E. Jeffery.
